- While discussing tattoo trends, my husband decided that someone should tattoo the word “grace” on their arm in large letters and constantly sing the song “Grace Flows Down.” The chorus goes, grace “covers meeee-eeeeee-eeeee-eeeeeee.”
- My sister turned 21 on Saturday, only to pick up and leave us three days later for some place called New Mexico. I told her it wasn’t allowed, but she went anyway.
- My mother-in-law is home and recovering from brain surgery. God is good.
- I tried the pinhole-on-the-garbage-bag trick in order to watch the Venus transit over the sun. I think my retinas are slowly burning off. I’ll let you know if I’m blind by the end of the day. Your prayers are welcome.
- I’ve eaten more beans in the past week than I know what to do with…black beans…chickpeas…fava beans…green beans…
- I’m constantly reminded of how central love is to my life. Love as a verb is much more real than love as an intangible noun. If I keep it to myself, it withers away. I must give it and do it and be it. 1 Corinthians 13:13 “Three things will last forever-faith, hope, and love-and the greatest of these is love.”

Love you!
Right back at you.
