A few weeks ago I was mesmerized by the sounds of the band Future of Forestry who played live at HeBrews Fort Wayne. The drummer played the piano, drums, trombone, guitar and brushed his teeth at the same time. Alright, maybe not the toothbrush, but…beautiful.
There are bands that are good and there are those that are great. This band is the latter. So much so that I cannot believe they are not more well known.
I woke up yesterday and before I even realized I wasn’t dreaming, the words from one of their songs ran through my head. “Slow your breath down, just take it slow.”
God was trying to tell me something.

For me, they go beyond good. They are inspiring and motivational. They make me want to live out my creativity differently. They restore my trust that music can be more than just entertainment.

I agree! Their music transcends the “everyday” and their lyrics are so deep. The music on Travels II has been the soundtrack to my life for the past few weeks.
